What are Winch Straps?

Winch straps are one of our tie down straps used for securing cargo on a flatbed truck or trailer. The strap material is polyester webbing and easy to tighten by using the winch bar. These are the widely used cargo control products in trucking companies.

Winch straps always work with the winch winder at the side of the flatbed trailer. One end attached to the winch and then pull the strap over the cargo and then another side of the winch strap with hook latch into the other side of the trailer.

Winch Strap Application

Our winch straps can be installed on the flatbed trailer as long as the side of the trailer has the winch. Sometimes the winch strap always goes with the corner protector or the protective sleeve to work for the cargo securement. Since the corner protector or the strap protector sleeve can extend the lifespan of the trailer strap.

End Fittings of Winch Strap

Our winch straps are always configured with the following end fittings.

1. Chain and hook, your cargo can be secured by the chain to d rings.
2. Wire hooks are always be used when your flatbed trailer has the d ring anchor which is used to attach the hook.
3. Flat hooks are the most commonly used end fittings for winch straps and your flatbed trailer should be equipped with the rub rail with slots.

Currently, we supply 2 inch winch straps, 3 inch winch straps, and 4 inch winch straps to our customers. Lighter and thinner winch straps have less cost, but provide weaker strength than the thicker and heavier winch straps. So, please clarify your request for WLL and breaking strength while buying the winch straps.
