How To Thread Ratchet Straps
Before fixing your cargo, you need to know how to thread ratchet straps and then you can use them to fix your cargo during transportation. Here are some steps:
- Put one end of the strap through the slot of the take-up spool.
- Pull the strap through to reasonable tension.
- Start ratcheting the strap up and down, and the strap will wind itself to your desired tension. (Keep the strap straight during all the process)
Then your cargo can be fixed.
How To Release Ratchet Strap
When you move the destination, you need to release the ratchet strap and move your cargo. Here are some steps for how to release the ratchet strap:
- There is a release lever on the handle and please press it.
- Then the ratchet is open, then you can pull the strap out of the spool.
